Chapter 3. Command Reference

The main KreateCD window

If you are in the main window, you will notice that there is only a menu bar present. The commands in the menu bar are described here.

The File Menu

File->New (Ctrl+N)

Creates a new CD-Projects.

File->Open (Ctrl+O)

Open an existing CD-Projects. (The project must be created at least with KreateCD 0.4.x)

File->Save (Ctrl+S)

Saves current project.

File->Save As

Let's you specify a name and saves the current project under this name

The Tools Menu

Tools->Copy CDROM...

Adds all tracks from the configured CD drive to your project.

The Tools->Audio Menu

Tools->Audio->Normalize to maximum

Tools->Audio->Normalize all to same

The Tools->CD-RW blanking Menu

This menu handles everything concerning the unclosing and clearing of CD-RW sessions and whole discs

The Help Menu

Help->Contents (F1)

Contents

Help->What's This? (Shift+F1)

Draws a question mark (?) beside the mouse pointer, clicking on a window item such as the Write CD!! button will then display a brief explanation. (Not implemented yet)

Shows you KreateCD's version number, authors and the License agreement.
