The settings in the Window Settings page let you select one of the different window modes that KBear can operate in.
In this first section you can select between three different window modes: TopLevel mode, ChildFrame mode and TabPage mode.
TopLevel mode means that all child views are detached from the MainWindow and are displayed as toplevel windows.
ChildFrame mode means that all child views are attached to the MainWindow and are displayed within the MainWindow.
TabPage mode means that all child views are attached to the MainWindow and are displayed as TabWindow within the MainWindow.
The last option, Remember window positions..., let you select if the positions of the child views should be saved and reused.
Here you can select how the child views should be arranged when in ChildFrame mode and also if they should be arranged automatically.
